Q: Driving an oversize or tall vehicle?
Our parkade has a maximum height limit of 7’0”. If your vehicle is taller, we recommend checking out our Macleod Square Surface Lot where you'll have no height restrictions to worry about.
Q: How do I find my way in and out of the TransAlta Place parkade?
We've made it super flexible for you:
• Coming in: Take your pick - drive in from either 11th Avenue SE (north entrance) or 12th Avenue SE (south entrance). The parkade entrance is located near the 11th Avenue entrance on the west side of the laneway.
• Heading out: Choose your exit to 11th Avenue SE or 12th Avenue SE, and you'll be on your way to Macleod Trail in no time
Q: How far will I need to walk to my Stampede Park event?
• 8 minute walk to Stampede Park or the BMO Centre
• 14 minute walk to the Scotiabank Saddledome
Q: What about getting out after the event?
Since we're just outside the busy event traffic zones, you'll find it's much easier and faster to drive home compared to parking right at Stampede Park.
Q: How secure is the parkade?
Your vehicle will be parked in well-lit areas, monitored by onsite security, along with controlled access to the parkade. You can enjoy your event knowing everything's taken care of.
Q: What can I do before the game or the event at TransAlta Place?
You're in luck! Pop into Sunterra Market or Starbucks right in our building. Perfect for a pre-event snack or meal. There are many ready to go and sit down options to explore. TransAlta Place is a 9 minute walk from some great restaurants and nightlife located on 10th Avenue SW.
